Maxwell Hill is a forest reserve in the State of Perak, Malaysia. The site is at the foothill. We adopt the spatial configuration of trees in the forest to derive the design concept. The tree in the forest has their own random positions, and the crowns on top provide the shade below.
We randomly positioned the 'trunks' at the site, and all those 'trunks' are linked up together to form a big canopy. Seating is also provided under the canopy for creating a conducive public space.
